About Alicia Lyons

Artistic Director, Girls Choir of Springfield

Alicia Lyons is a choral director and passionate music educator serving students across Southwest Missouri, whose ensembles consistently earn top ratings at state and national festivals. As Artistic Director of the Girls Choir of Springfield, she is dedicated to helping young singers in grades 3–12 grow in confidence, vocal technique, and artistry through high-quality choral training and meaningful performance opportunities.

With degrees in vocal performance and music education from the University of Missouri–Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Missouri State University, along with advanced training from nationally recognized programs, Alicia brings both expertise and heart to her work with young singers.

In addition to directing school choirs and leading award-winning ensembles, Alicia has performed and trained as a vocalist at respected programs across the country. Through the Girls Choir of Springfield, she has created a supportive, high-level environment where girls build friendships, develop their voices, and grow into confident, expressive young leaders.
